Bilingual Medical Interpreter
As an over-the-phone English-Spanish interpreter, I work in a fast paced environment where each call presents unique challenges. Understanding the nuances from industries such as finance, medicine, telecom, insurance, and government agencies then switching between them for each call back and forth between languages without a moment’s notice. This experience has helped me build additional customer service skills and domain knowledge.

By creating and promoting written, video and in-person learning material, I helped local young entrepreneurs shape and formalize their startup ideas. By providing guidance and mentorship, we succeeded in helping over 20 new businesses form and add their products in a virtual marketplace.
Business Developer
In this role, I devised and brought to completion the development of a new business unit within the company. From the inception of the project to turning it into a business plan using tools like SWOT analysis. I identified market needs from a customer’s perspective, wrote a successful government grant proposals, and performed the due diligence and legal formalities of creating and launching a new brand within the original
business.
