Shift Supervisor
I have three years of hands-on experience in customer service at Starbucks, where I started as a barista and worked my way up to a Shift Supervisor role. During this time, I not only excelled in providing exceptional customer service but also took on additional responsibilities in administrative and operational tasks. I was entrusted with tasks such as inventory management, conducting product counts in the stores, and leading team activities.
Operations Analyst
I worked as an Operations Specialist at Cortium AC, where my primary focus was handling government-related paperwork and processes on behalf of private companies. In this role, I played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's services, managing government compliance, and facilitating seamless transactions between our clients and government entities.
Assistant Cook
In 2022, at Gwynn Valley, I began as a dishwasher in the camp's kitchen. Throughout the summer, I showcased strong leadership, organizational skills, and excellent customer service. My commitment and communication abilities led to a promotion to Kitchen Assistant by summer's end, where I bridged communication gaps between chefs and the team, ensuring efficient operations. This experience enriched my leadership, organizational, and customer service skills, while also enhancing my English proficiency.
Lead Cook
In 2023, at Gwynn Valley, I further honed my skills while taking on a leadership role. Midway through the summer, I was promoted to Lead Cook, guiding team members from diverse backgrounds with my strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities. This experience allowed me to excel as a leader and contribute to the team's success.
Operations Analyst
After completing my contract at Gwynn Valley in the United States, the agency with which I traveled to the U.S., Smaller Earth, offered me a position in their offices. In this role, I worked as an Operations Analyst, responsible for reviewing information and documents of program participants. Additionally, I handled various administrative and organizational tasks, including email communications with program participants. This experience allowed me to contribute to the effective management and coordination of the program.
Education
Digital Design
I am currently pursuing my degree in Digital Design at UVM because of my passion for creativity, and I have been independently working on design, digital art, and animation projects for the past three years. I anticipate graduating in the fall of 2024.
