Researcher
As a Researcher I participated in the analysis of the role of the Judicial Branch in Mexico (at federal and state level), their legal framework, political agenda and the impact of its decisions regarding other political actors. Also, I collaborated in the development of research reports, policy briefs and other products regarding the implementation of technology within the Judicial Branch in México.
Project Leader
I managed a project to support 500 inmates in their reintegration to society, developed policies, protocols and legal instruments to improve collaboration between authorities and civil society.
I led a team of 5 persons including 3 psychologists, 2 social workers and 1 lawyer. After 6 months the team evaluated the situation of at least 500 inmates in 4 prisons.
Finally, I made remote and in person presentations as well as written reports with stakeholders and Government counterparts.
Researcher
Collaborated in the development of the training online platform “Aula CEEAD” that hosted online course for law professors, criminal justice operators and independent lawyers.
Participated with Senior researchers and criminal law specialists in the design of the online training’s curricula.
Attended working groups that defined the skills and capabilities that were strengthened through the online courses in “Aula CEEAD”.
Drafted project manuals, a casebook and guidelines for law schools’ professors and students.
Coordinated the development of two standard examinations with CENEVAL, one was addressed to law students (EXSIPA) and the other to criminal law operators like public defenders, and prosecutors (EXMIDA).
Participated in grant and contract assignment processes.
Made project progress presentations in the annual grant meetings in México, organized by the INL.
